It seems fitting that the first Broadway show to grace the
Fox Cities Performing Arts Center’s stage is part of the theater’s 10th
Anniversary Season. Returning for its fifth Appleton run, Mamma Mia! is decidedly a Fox Cities favorite. Over the years, it
has drawn tens of thousands of visitors to the Center, many for the first time.
But that’s the magic of Mamma
Mia! In ABBA’s enigmatic poetry of pop hits, Catherine Johnson imagined a Greek
island and a musical about a woman whose daughter is getting married and wants
desperately for her mystery father to walk her down the aisle. With all of the
pieces you expect in a great musical, you’ll find flowing story that is
positively relatable, immensely entertaining and driven by songs which have
already stood the test of time.

officially kicks off the 2012/13 10th Anniversary Season August
