Attention Cheeseheads: Fox Cities Performing Arts Center to go Green and Gold!

Hey, Packers fans, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has an upcoming show you won’t want to miss! Green and Gold Legends with Dave Robinson will appear in the Kimberly-Clark Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.

The unique live stage performance will examine the former Green Bay Packers outside linebacker’s life, the NFL and his career with the Green Bay Packers. Sports fans also will hear an introduction narrated by sportscaster Wayne Larrivee, play-by-play voice of the Packers Radio Network.

The first half, running between 45-60 minutes, will be hosted and produced by Wisconsin native Royce Boyles who has written three books – “The Lombardi Legacy,” “The Lombardi Impact” and “Lombardi’s Left Side” – with Robinson. The audience will learn about the football player’s life from the time of his birth in Moorestown, N.J. to his Aug. 3 induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Following intermission, the remaining 30 minutes will allow audience members to ask questions.

Robinson played with the Packers from 1963-72 and was a member of Vince Lombardi’s three consecutive World Championship teams in 1965, 1966 and 1967. The Packers won Super Bowls I and II. Robinson is the 22nd member of the Packers and 11th player of the Lombardi Dynasty to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. He is now semi-retired in Akron, Ohio.

A portion of the proceeds from Green and Gold Legends with Dave Robinson will benefit the Olive 74 Assistance Fund. Tickets start at $28 and will go on sale to the general public Monday, Sept. 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. There is an eight ticket limit.
